Karan Tacker Narrates His Ordeal On How A False Report Of Him Being COVID-19 Positive Affected Him – Read On

The Coronavirus positive cases are on the rise. And as we speak of this, TV actor Karan Tacker recently narrated his ordeal to Mumbai Mirror on how he jetted off to Delhi for an endorsement shoot and had taken a COVID-19 test before flying out as a precautionary measure as he didn't want to put anyone at risk. However, after reaching the National capital, he got the report and learnt that he had tested positive. After learning about his results, the hotel staff panicked and he had to relocate in the middle of the night.
He was quoted saying, "We got the report only late in the evening and the staff of the hotel where I was staying, immediately panicked. They called the authorities and I had to be relocated in the middle of the night. The process took almost six hours and I arrived at the isolation facility at 3 am." He wasn't convinced with the tests as there were no symptoms and said that his tests were not taken properly. Explaining how the person who came to collect the sample in Mumbai took only his nose swab and not throat despite him telling to take a throat swab, he said, "I kept asking him to take a throat swab too but he said that what he has was enough."
Talking about the production team who was of no help, Karan said, "They didn't even help me find a COVID facility, I had to do everything on my own. Thankfully, I didn't crack under the pressure and decided I needed to be sure and got two more tests done in Delhi from two different labs. I also asked my family to get tested in Mumbai and all the results were negative."
"I am angry and appalled by the faulty test that was the reason for my family going through so much trauma," he said. He even mentioned that his second results came negative while also informing that from the past few days, he hasn't slept at all. Further, he mentioned that he has quarantined himself for 14 days as he has come from another city. The actor said that he is going to get himself tested again in Mumbai in a few days, just to be on the safe side despite the two negative reports.
